Our shop is located in the beautiful town of Port Carling, and we service clients throughout the Muskoka and the Lake of Bays area. We love what we do and pride ourselves on being cottage country’s premiere custom Audio, Video & Smart Home company.

As a Full-Time Audio, Video & Smart Home Technician you’ll get to work with the BEST technology and technicians in the industry! Working in custom audio & video installation, integration, and maintenance of home automation systems are just some of the things you can expect to work on in this role.

The Role:

• Custom audio & video installation, integration, and maintenance of home automation systems

• Installation and maintenance of smart lighting control and automated shades

• Home theatres, audio & video installation, and troubleshooting

• Configuring & terminating networks, switches & routers

• Completing low voltage pre-wiring

• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures

Your Assets:

• Proven multi-tasking abilities with a meticulous attention to detail

• Enthusiasm and a passion for AV & Smart Home Tech , a big win for us, but not necessary!

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team

• Results oriented, driven, and disciplined with a “can do” attitude

• Effective communication skills with a positive, professional, and friendly attitude

• Experience with LUTRON RA2, RA3, HomeWorks & Shades, Araknis Networks & URC, VANTAGE, Control4, CRESTRON, ELAN, or SAVANT would be great, but we will provide training

• G class drivers license with a clear driver’s abstract

Working Conditions:

• Able to lift to 55lbs

• Lifting, crouching, and reaching are all regularly required in the role

• Working at heights on ladders and scaffolding

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.50-$35.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Port Carling, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• audio visual: 1 year (preferred)
